Designing a Premium Experience

The project kicked off with a distinct challenge: How do you design a website for a luxury mall terrace so it feels genuinely premium online?

Instead of relying on generic luxury tropes, we looked at the physical space for inspiration. Casa Costanera's "The Roof" features a stunning, unique botanical garden. I established this as our design anchor, translating its organic, tactile textures directly into the digital user interface to create a bridge between the physical and digital environments.

To elevate the digital experience, we bypassed standard web layouts and leaned into editorial design. We drew inspiration from fashion magazines, employing:

Bold Typography & Hierarchy

Setting an upscale, intentional tone from the first scroll.

Generous Whitespace

Giving elements room to breathe, a classic hallmark of luxury branding.

High Quality Assets

Using high-end editorial photos of textures blended with the place itself.

Visual
First

An editorial layout is only as strong as the imagery it holds. The interface was intentionally engineered to serve as a framework that granted absolute prominence to the high-quality visual content provided by the mall and its restaurants. By placing these assets front and center, the UI became an invisible container for the lifestyle photography.

The final product went beyond a standard informational website; it became an immersive preview. By combining organic environmental textures with high-fashion layouts, we crafted a digital experience that seamlessly transports users from their screens straight into the upscale atmosphere and culinary experiences waiting for them on the terrace.
